This hotel was ideal base for exploring San Pedro de Atacama, thoroughly enjoyed it. The room was well-equipped and spotlessly clean and what's more - included a shower, a hairdryer, and bath sheets. The bed was comfortable and there was free Wi-Fi.
Tbh, rooms were rather small.

The hotel's decoration was charming, with colorful tapestries and traditional artwork that made me feel like I was truly experiencing the culture of San Pedro de Atacama. The general areas were spacious and well-maintained, providing plenty of room for seniors like myself to move around comfortably. Additionally, the hotel was easily accessible for senior people, with ramps and handrails in place to assist with mobility.
The only thing I would ask for a better vacation for senior people is for the children working there to be more attentive to the needs of older guests. It would have been nice if they had offered assistance with carrying luggage or provided information about nearby attractions that are suitable for seniors.

Friendly and accommodating staff made my stay at Hostal Open House memorable. When I had an early morning bus, they let me stay in the common area until I had to leave for the station. Not many places would go to such lengths to accommodate their guests. I highly recommend this hotel for those on a budget.

I absolutely loved the cozy and welcoming atmosphere of this hostel. The decorations were charming and reminded me of my own home. The common areas were easily accessible for senior people like myself, with comfortable seating and ample space to relax and socialize. The children working there were always ready to lend a hand and made me feel like part of their own family.
My only wish for a better vacation for senior people would be to have handrails installed in the bathrooms and showers. This would provide extra support and safety, especially for those with mobility issues.

My stay at Hostal Open House was enjoyable and comfortable. The staff was kind and positive, and they made sure my room was clean and tidy. The location of the hostel was perfect, with a great mountain view just outside the gates. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were spacious. I also appreciated the fact that they allowed me to park my car in their yard for free. I had a pleasant experience during my stay.
There were a few minor inconveniences during my stay. The hot water in the shower was not always available, and the WiFi had occasional slowdowns.

We had a great time at the hostel! The outdoor sitting area was lovely, perfect for enjoying the beautiful mountain view. The rooms and bathrooms were cleaned everyday, which was a nice touch. The location, although not in the very center, was still quite central and only took a short 4-5 minute walk to get there. The hot water worked, and the internet, although sometimes slow, was generally fast. The hostel is run by a very nice local family, which added to the overall pleasant atmosphere. Considering the budget-friendly prices in San Pedro, this hostel exceeded our expectations and provided excellent value.

The room I stayed in at Hostal Open House was cozy and comfortable. I loved the patio, it was perfect for relaxing. The tile floor added a nice touch. The kitchenware provided was handy for preparing meals. The bathroom had complimentary toiletries, always a perk. a great room for a business traveler like me.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the shared kitchen. But that's just my opinion, others might still enjoy it.

The staff were super helpful and made our stay mind-blowingly easy. The location was great, with a beautiful outdoor patio. The single room with ensuite bathroom was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was nice, and the free drinking water was a jaw-dropping bonus. The English may not have been perfect, but the staff was incredibly nice and communicative. The main street was within a short walking distance. The cost benefit was good, with a decent breakfast and kind and nice staff. The place was spotlessly clean and run by a lovely local family. It exceeded my expectations for a budget accommodation, and considering the prices in the area, it was excellent value. The location was quite central, with hot water and really fast internet.
